Board position information meeting

February 7, 2026 we will be not only having  a packing party but electing our new Board members.  If you are interested in learning more about what each position entails please join us for this meeting.  Our current board will be on the call and able provide information about what their job duties are and answer any questions you may have.

Description of each position:

President:   shall preside at all meetings of the general membership of the Club and Executive Board.  The President is the executive office of the corporation and shall in general oversee the business of the Club.

Vice President:  shall preside at all meetings during the absence of the President and carry out other duties as directed.  Ideally we would prefer not to have a 1/C parent in this position so we can facilitate an easy transition upon the completion of the following term

Secretary  shall generate meeting minutes and maintain permanent record of  all meetings and votes.   Will conduct correspondence and duties as directed and maintain club membership.

Treasurer shall keep accurate financial records and provide monthly reporting to the board, prepare an annual report showing income and expenditures, file our Corporation Commission listing as required as well as working with our Accountant for taxes.

Member at large shall carry out duties as directed and provide additional support to our board members. Can include duties such as managing social media, website updating, plebe parent mentoring, fundraising.
